Directions for Use
One to two teaspoons of herb added to one cup of boiling water and brewed for 10 minutes. Strain and drink up to three times daily.
Precautions
Some authorities suggest it is best to take breaks from using Echinacea. In acute conditions, regular, higher doses are required. In chronic infections, smaller doses over the long term are more effective. Avoid when taking immunosuppressant therapy. Seek advice during pregnancy.
Notes on the Herb
Echinacea is well known for its immune-system modulating effects. It is used for all manner of infections, from colds and 'flu, urinary infections to post-viral fatigue. It may also be used to prevent colds and 'flu.
